Mark and Chiara had a lakeside marquee within the stunning parkland of the estate, with the house itself as the backdrop. Our deckchairs were on hire for guests to lounge and enjoy their reception drinks on the croquet lawns.

The Firle Estate sits in the heart of the South Downs National Park and just 60 miles from the centre of London. Firle Place is an outstanding privately owned country house wedding venue in Sussex and home to Lord and Lady Gage, that dates from the time of Henry VIII. Incorporating several villages and farms spread over rolling hills, Firle is a thriving rural community set in one of the most picturesque parts of the United Kingdom.

Fire Place holds many spenders within its estate, the Private Gardens are tucked behind the stunning stately home with views of the whole estate, a beautiful private walled 18th century herb garden with a 16th century thatched dairy cottage and fruit orchard, a Georgian Riding School, croquet lawns situated beside the lake, and Firle Church is situated next door with a gate from the churchyard leading directly into Firle Place. It is a totally private space overlooked by the South Downs.

Mark and Chiara had a lakeside marquee within the stunning parkland of the estate, with the house itself as the backdrop. Our deckchairs were on hire for guests to lounge and enjoy their reception drinks on the croquet lawns. The Sperry tent provided by Papakata, blended into the natural wildness and grandeur of a private estate perfectly, with this lakeside spot providing magnificent views across the park and all the way to the South Downs. Not to mention the breathtaking driveway that leads you through the estate, which really is quite special!

We loved the style of this relaxed, rural and idyllic wedding in the natural beauty of Firle Place.

Congratulations Mark and Chiara!
